Alanya is a coastal resort town and province of Antalya Province on the southern coast of Turkey, in the Mediterranean region of the country, 138 kilometers (86 miles) east of Antalya. As of Turkey's 2010 census, the city had a population of 98,627, while the area that includes the city and the built-up area is 1,598.51 km 2 and 248,286 inhabitants. [3]
The city includes outdoor tourism activities windsurfing, windsurfing and banana boats. Attractions include Europe's largest water park, Selenia, and the largest kart track in Turkey. [23] The hunting season also attracts some tourists to wild goats, pigs and fishing hatch in nature reserves.
