Marmaris

Marmaris

Marmaris is an important Turkish city located on the Mediterranean coast, in the south-western region of Turkey, in the province of Mugla.
Due to its location on the Aegean Sea, Marmaris is also an important tourist attraction, in addition to being an important port. The source of revenue for the main city of Marmaris is tourism. In contrast to Bodrum, Alachato or similar Turkish coastal cities, Marmaris was somewhat damaged in urban construction during the 1980s, but still retained its charm due to the extraordinary natural beauty of its location. It is also a major center for sailing. A popular winter site for the departure of hundreds of boat owners.
